Sioux Falls Storm News Release
The Sioux Falls Storm is pleased to announce that veteran defensive lineman, Cory Johnsen, has signed to play for the Storm in 2011.
Johnsen will be entering his 6th Season as defensive lineman for the Storm where he is 2nd in career sacks, 3rd in all time tackles for loss and ranked 1st in career tackles for loss in the postseason. Johnsen was notably named to the 2009 All-IFL 2nd team.
"Cory's early signing shows his commitment in helping the "Thunder Defense" return to championship form," said Storm owner Todd Tryon.
The St. Cloud State University alum finished the 2010 season with 19 tackles, 4 sacks, 1 forced fumble returned for a touchdown and 1 defensive touchdown.
