SAN JOSE, CALIF- The San Jose Giants will host their annual job fair on Saturday, February 28th from 11:00 AM until 3:00 PM at Municipal Stadium. The San Jose Giants are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals who are committed to providing our guests with a positive entertainment experience. Anyone interested in a part-time seasonal position on our game-day staff must come to the stadium to complete the application and interview process.

Available positions include bat boy, camera operator, concessions staff, fun zone attendant, parking attendant, program and scorecard vendor, shift supervisor, ticket taker, Turkey Mike's BBQ staff and usher.

"Baseball is just around the corner and with it the start of the 2009 season," said Juliana Paoli, San Jose Giants Vice President of Marketing and Public Affairs. "Our game day positions will provide a variety of much needed jobs during our six month season. We encourage everyone, young and young at heart to attend the job fair. It is a great place to work!"

All applicants must be a minimum of 16 years of age, with the exception of those applying for the bat boy position where the minimum age requirement is 14. Employees will work a variety of events at Municipal Stadium, including San Jose Giants home games and special events from March through September.

The San Jose Giants open their 2009 season on Thursday, April 9th at Municipal Stadium vs. the Stockton Ports. The Opening Night Extravaganza will include a post-game fireworks display, 2009 magnet schedule giveaway, the return of Gigante and much more.
