Jim Moss Named to Starting Line up of All Star Game

SAN JOSE - The National Lacrosse League (NLL) announced today that San Jose Stealth defenseman Jim Moss, 2002-03 NLL Defenseman of the Year, was named as one of the starting six for the Western Division in this year's 2003-04 All-Star Game.
Moss, 26, has posted five points (five goals) and collected 23 loose balls in six games this season with the Stealth.
Last season Moss tallied 16 points (11 goals, 15 assists) in all 16 games for the Albany Attack, now the Stealth. In 2002-03, Moss was also named the NLL Defenseman of the Year.
The six-foot, 200-pound native of Toronto, Ontario was signed by Albany as a free agent on March 7, 2001.
Moss will join defensman Andy Ogilvie of the Vancouver Ravens and forwards Gavin Prout and Gary Gait from the Colorado Mammoth and Tracey Kelusky from the Calgary Roughnecks to form the starting five on the floor for the Western Division All-Stars. In net for the West is Colorado Mammoth rookie goaltender Gee Nash. The West will be coached by Jamie Batley of the division-leading Mammoth. The Eastern Division All-Stars are comprised of forwards Colin Doyle (Toronto Rock), John Tavares (Buffalo Bandits), Blaine Manning (Toronto Rock) and defensemen Mike Hasen (Rochester Knighthawks) and Pat Coyle (Toronto Rock). Rochester Knighthawks goaltender Pat O'Toole will start in goal and Buffalo Head Coach, Darris Kilgour will be behind the bench.
The reserves for the East and West teams will be selected by the coaching staffs from each conference will be and announced later this week.
