Jets to be recognized at holiday tournament

(DAYTON, OHIO) On December 29th and 30th (Thursday & Friday) Trotwood High School will be the site of the 1st Annual Trotwood Invitational Holiday Tournament, sponsored by the Ohio Youth Sports Association. This year's event will feature a number of the state's Top Ranked Boys Basketball Programs. Opening game will start at 6:30PM and will feature Columbus Africentric (last year's Division 4 State Champions) against local small school power Dayton Jefferson. The final game of the night will include Cleveland John F. Kennedy facing off against the Trotwood Running Rams at 8:00PM. Game times for both nights will be 6:30 and 8:00PM.

In addition to the games, attendees will have an opportunity to meet some of the players/coaches from the Dayton Jets. Dayton's Newest IBL (International Basketball League) Basketball Team who are preparing for their second season with the league. The Dayton Jets team will be recognized at half-time of the Championship Game on December 30th for their outstanding inaugural season (2005) in the International Basketball League (IBL), which was highlighted by their appearance in the IBL Finals. The Jets also had four players selected to the 2005 IBL Eastern All-Star Team.

All Tickets are $7 at the door and no passes will be accepted.
