(Dayton,Oh) - The 2006 Season Of The Dayton Jets (An Ibl Professional Basketball Team Will Kick Off Its Tryouts This Saturday, March 4 At The Kettering Recreation Center. Tryouts Wiill Begin At 6pm With A $100 Registration Fee For All Eligible Players.

New Coaches: The Jets Would Like To Announce As It's New Head Coach, Mr. Carlos Knox. Carlos Played High School Basketball At Meadowdale High School And Led His Team To Two District 15 Titles. He Also Collected Two City League Scoring Titles. Carlos Finished His College Career At Indianaa University/Purdue University. At Iupui, Carlos Earned First Team All-American Status Every Year. He Also Collected Two Ncaa Scoring Titles And Was The Ncaa Player Of The Year Twice. Following His Iupui Career, Knox Played Professionally. He Spent Time Wiith The Indiana Pacers And Eventually Took His Talents Overseas. He Is The Assistant Coach For The Indiana Alley Cats (The No. 1 Ranked Team In The Aba).

Assistant Coach, Mr. Dave Washingtonis A Former Meadowdale High School Standout. All Conference Player For The University Of Arkansas-Pinebluff. Washington Brings A Career Of Professional Expereience. Also Joining The Coaching Staff Is Dayton's Own Frankie J. Sanders. Sanders Is A 1975 Stivers High School All American Standout. He Is A Two Time Swac Scoring Champion Of Southern University And First Round Draft Pick Of The San Antonio Spurs. He Is A Former Player For Both The Kansas City Kings And The Boston Celtics.

Games: The First Two Games For The Dayton Jets Upcoming 2006 Season Will Be Played At Trotwood-Madison High School Located At 4440 North Union Road In Trotwood. The Jets Finished Second In The League During The 2005 Inaugural Season And Will Tip Off This Season April 7 Looking To Avenge In A Rematch Of The 2005 Ibl Championship Game Against Michigan's Battlecreek Knights.
