Jets Recall Patrice Cormier from IceCaps

The Winnipeg Jets today announced they have recalled forward Patrice Cormier from the St. John's IceCaps.

Cormier, 21, played in two games with the Winnipeg Jets during his last recall with the team that ran from Dec. 29 to Jan. 1/11. The Moncton, NB native has now played in a career total 23 NHL games between Atlanta and Winnipeg for a career total two points (1g, 1a) and four penalty minutes.

Cormier has spent the majority of the season with the St. John's IceCaps where he has played in 29 games this campaign for 13 points (9g, 4a) and 40 penalty minutes. He was originally drafted by New Jersey in the second round, 54th overall, in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
