Jets Hosting Mid-Week Games

(Fargo, ND) With the Jets off this weekend while some key series are shaping up to be what could be the playoff scenarios.

Bismarck hosts Southern MN and with only six games remaining the Bobcats are in a must win situation as the best they can finish is with a total of 64 points. In Springfield the Jr. Blues welcomes back the North Iowa Outlaws for a two game tangle. North Iowa has won the division and will host throughout the Central Division playoffs assuming they get to the second round. Meanwhile the Jr. Blues are currently in third place and can finish with a best of 70 points. Up in the Last Frontier the Alexandria Blizzard make stops in Wasilla to battle the Avalanche then move on to Fairbanks for the Icedogs finalizing their stay in Kenai River trying to take a meal from the Brown Bear.

Let the games begin as the final playoff pushes are made all around the North American Hockey League. Texas has to win two of their final three games to clinch the fourth and final slot in the South. While the Jets need to take of business against Southern MN on the 11th and 12th at home before heading to Springfield and can't rely on others to lose along their way. The Jets have 10 games left on their plate and need to keep up their end of the bargain to skate into the extra month of action.

Bring your college ID for discounted admission and beer on Tuesday March 11th as the Jets play host to the Southern MN Express. Wednesday night the Jets finish their mini two-game home stand with both tilts beginning at 7:35pm and can be heard on fmjets.com starting at 7:15pm for "Open Skate" the official pre-game show.
