
Stars gear up for MDA Spaghetti on Ice

TRAVERSE CITY - For one night, the Traverse City North Stars are switching specialties - from pucks to pasta.
The second annual 'Spaghetti on Ice' event, slated for Thursday, March 20 at Centre ICE arena, will feature North Stars players as skating waiters, serving a piping hot Auntie Pasta's spaghetti dinner, with all proceeds to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Northern Michigan. There will also be games and prizes, and a silent auction. Doors open at 5 p.m., with dinner served at 6 p.m.
Dinner is $10 per adult, $5 for children under 12, and $30 for a family (max. 5). Tickets can be purchased at the North Stars ticket office at Centre ICE arena, or by calling the team at (231) 941-9200.
