
Jesús Ferriera Named to MLSsoccer.com's Team of the Matchday Following Road Win at Real Salt Lake

Frisco, Texas - FC Dallas forward Jesús Ferreira has been named to MLSsoccer.com's Team of the Matchday presented by Audi for Matchday 33 after scoring his third brace of the season at Salt Lake City last night. This is Ferreira's fifth Team of the Matchday appearance this season after being honored for Matchday 2,13, 7 (bench), 12 (bench).
Ferreira, 22, scored his twelfth goal of the season and is now tied for the most game-winning goals in a season in club history (7). Ferriera also converted FC Dallas' first penalty kick of the season and is continuing to ascend in the Golden Boot race only trailing the league leader by three goals.
Following last night's brace, Ferriera is now second place for most goals scored in FC Dallas history with 48. Jason Kreis is the club's all-time leader in goals scored with 97.
Goalkeeper Maarten Paes was named to the Team of the Matchday bench following his strong performance in goal.
This is the sixteenth time in 2023 that FC Dallas has earned MLSsoccer.com's Team of the Matchday honors.
