Jersey off My Back Fundraiser for Baby Henry on Monday

The Sioux Falls Storm of United Indoor Football (UIF) is proud to announce the details of the Fourth Annual ?Jersey Off My Back? Fundraiser brought to you by Pro Cellular, your Alltel Authorized Agent. The event will take place at the game on Monday, March 17. Doors open to the Arena at 6:00 PM where fans can purchase raffle tickets at $5 per ticket or $10 for three tickets. These raffle tickets will put them in a drawing for Storm jerseys that players will wear for the game. The drawing will take place immediately following the game on the field where fans may claim their jersey.

Along with the raffle, there will be a silent auction for seven player jerseys. Silent Auctions will take place for the jerseys of Andre Fields, Brian McIntire, Adam Hicks, Paul Keizer, Nate Scheuer, Shannon Poppinga, Mark Blackburn, Terrance Bryant, James Terry, and Nate Fluit. Bids for the silent auction will be accepted at the Sprint Fan Zone at the Arena starting at 6:00 PM on Monday night.

All funds raised will benefit the long term care of Baby Henry. Henry was admitted into the hospital in November and spent about 2 months there. The 10-month old is back at home, but is hampered by vision problems. Henry?s left eye is doing well, but he is still blind in his right eye. The family is very hopeful and will find out soon about other potential developmental problems. The family already knows that Henry will be on seizure medication his entire life.

The Storm opens their 2008 home season vs. the Colorado Ice on Monday. Individual tickets can be obtained by visiting www.ticketmaster.com or stopping by the Arena Box Office. The next victim to enter the Storm Shelter will be Sioux City Bandits on Saturday, April 12. Kickoff is at 7:05 PM. Season tickets are still available and can be obtained by calling the Storm office at 332-4225.
