Jacksonville, Fla. (April 16, 2009) - The Diamond Jaxx play game three of a five game series in Jacksonville at 6:05 tonight at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville. The Jaxx look to wake up the bats in game three. In the first two games of the series, the Jaxx are hitting .180 (11-61) as a team with 1HR and 2RBI. The Diamond Jaxx are hitting .226 as a team through the first The bats were cooled on Wednesday afternoon by Suns southpaw, Sean West, who picked up his first win of the season. West is the #4 prospect in the Marlins system.

Tonight, RHP Kyle Parker (0-0, 0.00) will make his second start of the 2009 season. The Seattle, WA native started on Saturday nights Game two dealing five scoreless innings, striking out five. Parker, a 24th round draft choice in 2006. He spent last season with Class High-A High Desert went 5-3 in 16 starts with the Maverics.

Also, Marshall Hubbard will be in the lineup tonight following being hit just below his left ear by a line drive. He was standing on the railing of the dugout in the second game on Saturday night in Montgomery, when Oswaldo Navarro ripped a line drive into the dugout. Hubbard missed four games and all tests came back negative.
