PORTLAND, November 1, 2007 - The Portland LumberJax have re-signed defenseman DJ Driscoll to a two-year agreement, as was announced today by Head Coach/General Manager Derek Keenan.

Driscoll was drafted by the Jax in the 2007 National Lacrosse League Entry Draft (third round, No. 36 overall) out of Notre Dame. The former All-Conference standout collected 13 loose balls in three games of action during his rookie season.

"DJ is going to be an outstanding defender in the NLL," said Keenan. "He's still going through the learning curve of adapting his outdoor skills to the indoor game, but his athleticism will make the transition much easier. He will get a shot at making an impact this season."
