Rush Hire Legendary Voice of NLL

Edmonton, AB- After two years of commuting from Camrose to Toronto, as the voice of the Toronto Rock at the Air Canada Centre and the radio host of the Dog's Breakfast on 98.1 CAM-FM in Camrose, Bruce Barker will be calling Rexall Place home for the 2008 season and beyond.

Bruce Barker has been hired by the Edmonton Rush to call the in arena game action at Rexall Place for each of the 8 home games as well as the 2008 All Star Game. Barker brings arena announcing experience rich with NLL history to Edmonton. He has won four NLL Champions Cup rings - two with the Toronto Rock (2002 and 2003) and one with the Calgary Roughnecks (2004) and has called three All Star Games for the NLL. His voice is legendary in the NLL and has become a Canadian good luck charm.

"The Champions Cup seems to follow me wherever I go and I am thrilled to become part of the Rush family. To reconnect with former team mates Chris Gill, Dan Stroup, and Curtis Palidwor inspires me to help bring an NLL title to the City of Champions." said Barker.
