
Jax face Philadelphia for only time this season Saturday

The LumberJax (2-3) face the Wings (4-2) on Saturday, February 18 at 5p (PST) in Philadelphia. This will be the first time back to Philadelphia for the 15-year veteran Wings goaltender Dallas Eliuk. This is also the first match-up between the two teams. Fans can watch the game live locally on CNW TV14 at 5p (PST).
Two star rookies will go head-to-head as Wings forward Sean Greenhalgh faces off against Jax defenseman Brodie Merrill. Both players have won two NLL Rookie of the Week awards to date. Greenhalgh has already posted 27 points this season (11 goals, 16 assists) and 21 loose balls. Merrill was named to the NLL All-Star team this week and is the only rookie on the starting lineup. The Wings are currently 1-1 at home and are coming off of a nail-biting 10-9 victory on February 11 against Buffalo. The Jax also went up against the Bandits last Saturday, February 10 and fell 16-6. Mike Hominuck still leads the Jax in points this week with 15 (six goals, nine assists). Peter Morgan is second with 13 points (six goals, seven assists).
