Orlando Apollos News Release
TODAY'S NEWS
The Apollos returned to the practice field Monday after their designated off-day on Sunday. Monday's morning practice was the coldest of camp so far with temperatures below 40 in San Antonio.
ON TO WEEK TWO: Today marked the first day of the second full week of training camp for the Apollos. Head coach Steve Spurrier remarked that the team is where he hoped it would be at this point and would get a better gauge on Wednesday when the Arizona Hotshots will visit the University of the Incarnate Word for a joint practice. On the team, Spurrier said, "The attitude on the team has been wonderful. I really think we'll have a team that the Orlando area people will be proud of and really like. Hopefully they'll leave Spectrum Stadium and say, 'I really like the way our team plays.' Obviously winning the game is what it's all about."
