Houston Dash News Release
HOUSTON - Houston Dash goalkeeper Jane Campbell was named to the U.S. Women's National Team roster for two friendlies later this month by head coach Jill Ellis, U.S. Soccer announced earlier today.
The USWNT camp will begin on Jan. 5 in Europe as they prepare for two friendlies, beginning with France in Le Havre on Jan. 19 and Spain in Alicante on Jan. 22.
Campbell earned her first senior cap with the national team in 2017 at BBVA Compass Stadium as the USWNT defeated Russia 5-1 on April 9. The goalkeeper's third and most recent cap was last April and also came at BBVA Compass Stadium in a 6-2 victory over Mexico.
Campbell finished her second season with the Dash with three shutouts and a career-high 89 saves over 24 games. The goalkeeper was named as the Player's Player of the Year by her teammates in October. That was her second club honor after being named the Unsung Hero in 2017.
