ROCKFORD, Ill. -- The Rockford Rampage's recent three-game winning streak has led to some Major Indoor Soccer League honors of late.

Midfielder Geison Moura was named MISL Player of the Week on Monday for his two-goal, one-assist performance (five points) Saturday during the Rampage's 22-12 rout of the host Philadelphia KiXX.

Last week, goalkeeper Ante Cop earned MISL Player of the Week following his MISL debut victory against the Milwaukee Wave on Jan. 17.

Moura has posted a pair of two-goal efforts in the past three games. He had two goals -- including the game-winner -- during the Rampage's 10-7 victory against Milwaukee on Jan. 16 at the MetroCentre.

For the season, the third-year pro has five goals, an assist and 11 points. Moura's 11 points rank fourth on the Rampage, and he is on pace to surpass his career-high 18 points of last season.

The Rampage (6-4) lead the MISL by a half game over La RaZa de Monterrey (6-5). These two teams face each other at 7:05 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 30, at the MetroCentre.

The Rampage are going for their first four-game winning streak in their NISL/MISL history. The Rampage had two three-game winning streaks during the 2008-2009 National Indoor Soccer League season, including the final three games of the regular season to reach the NISL playoffs.
