
Geison Moura Named MISL Player Of The Week

Rockford Rampage midfielder Geison Moura led the Rampage to a 22-12 win over the Philadelphia KiXX Saturday night with two goals and an assist (five points). It marked Moura's second two-goal performance in three games, following up his strong effort during a 10-7 win over the Milwaukee Wave on January 16. For the season, the third-year pro has five goals, an assist and 11 points, and he is on pace to surpass his career-high 18 points of last season. Moura ranks fourth in points on the first-place Rampage.
About the Major Indoor Soccer League The MISL represents the major league of professional indoor soccer, featuring the finest indoor soccer players from around the world. The league consists of five member clubs in 2009-10: the Baltimore Blast, La RaZa de Monterrey, Philadelphia KiXX, Rockford Rampage and the Milwaukee Wave. The regular season will run for 18 weeks and will conclude on Sunday, March 21. The postseason is set to start the following weekend with the top three teams qualifying. The second- and third-place teams will square-off in a home-and-home Semifinal series with the winner advancing to battle the top seed.
