
Jam's title defense begins Sunday

The Jam begin the 2004-05 American Basketball Association (ABA) season at the Pyramid of Long Beach against the Orange County Crush. The Jam, coached by NBA Hall of Famer Nate "Tiny" Archibald take on a few familiar faces from last season's team, including Head Coach Earl Cureton, Assistant Coach Corey Gaines, guard Derrick Dial and forwards Juaquin Hawkins and Jerry Dupree. This season, the Jam are led by former Utah St. star Ramel Curry and St. John's Felipe Lopez.
Rap star Lil' Romeo will sign autographs at halftime for fans.
