
Jammers Rally Late Against Auburn Again

For the second time in three games, the Jamestown Jammers rallied in the late innings to stun the Auburn Doubledays, 3-2, at Falcon Park Wednesday night in New York-Penn League action.
The Jammers strung together four consecutive hits with two outs in the eighth inning after rallying in the ninth Monday to continue to try and spoil Auburn's postseason chances. Jamestown (35-36) has been eliminated from playoff contention with just four games remaining in the season.
Jake Esch earned the win for the Jammers as he continues to make the transition from infielder to reliever. He gave up just one hit and fanned four in two innings on the mound. Starter Josh Hodges took a no decision as he surrendered just five hits and two runs, only one earned, in five innings with strikeouts.
