Jaguars Schedule Second Try-out Camp

New Jersey Jaguars Owner/President Ron Eford has announced that the team will hold its second Free-Agent Tryout Camp on Saturday July 31 and Sunday, August 1, at the Hoopzone in Englewood, NJ (www.hoopzone.net). The session each day will start at 12:00 noon.
The cost is $150 (payable by money order or cashier's check) and enrollment will be limited to the first 40 applicants.
Eford said "We are still in the market for quality players - and people - as we look to build a competitive franchise. We had a very successful camp in June, and extended an invitation to 13 of the 35 participants to our veterans camp later this year. Once again, we will have a number of college coaches, professional scouts and other basketball people helping to evaluate the talent on-hand."
"The Jaguars intend to be the flagship team for the ABA, and these camps are the first steps in attaining that goal," Eford continued. "Each player attending will have every chance to display their skills, hopefully for the opportunity to continue their basketball career path."
