Jacksonville Jam Joins The Premier Basketball League

(Jacksonville, FL)... The Jacksonville Jam, Jacksonville's Professional Basketball Team, announced today that they will be joining the Premier Basketball League (PBL) for the upcoming 2007-2008 professional basketball season.

"We are very excited about being a part of the PBL" stated JAM General Manager Felix Krupczynski. "The PBL is a well funded and well run organization at every level with aggressive growth plans and a national footprint and exposure that we are excited about being a part of."

The Premier Basketball League will host preseason exhibition games in December 2007 with tip-off for the regular season scheduled in January 2008, as each team plays a 20 game regular season schedule through late March. The Jacksonville JAM successfully launched its inaugural season in the 2006-2007 American Basketball Association. The JAM emerged on the scene as a premier sports and entertainment organization entertaining and delighting their fans throughout Jacksonville and beyond. The Jam will now tip-off their second season at the University of North Florida as a member of the Premier Basketball League. WJXE TV-15 will now broadcast all of the JAM games throughout the season for both home and road games. The league schedule will be released later this month.
