
Jacksonville Bluewaves Earn First Ever Win

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., May 11, 2010 - The Jacksonville Bluewaves earned their first ever win by beating the Florida Flight 116-112 May 11 in Kissimmee.
The game, which was the first of both teams' inaugural season, was an offensive battle from start to finish. The Bluewaves trailed by as many as 11 points during the game, but were able to take control of the lead for good with two minutes remaining in the second half. Bluewaves guard Mike Sturns led all scorers with 25 points.
The Bluewaves first home game of the season will be against the Marietta Storm May 15 at 2 p.m. at Edward Waters College.
