Jacks Look to Advance to Next Round in Game Six

(Odessa, TX) - The Odessa Jackalopes have a 3-2 series lead over the Texas Brahmas in the Southern Conference Semifinal round, and have a chance to advance to the next round of the 2010 Ray Miron President's Cup Playoffs with a win in game six on Monday night.

Series overall: Odessa leads 3-2

Game 3 - Wednesday at Texas, 6-3 Win

Sebastien Thinel had four assists in the game as the Odessa Jackalopes opened up a 3-0, first period lead and never looked back, winning their first game of the series.

Game 4 - Friday at Texas, 5-1 Win

Odessa evened up the series at 2-2 winning their second game at the NYTEX Sports Centre after opening the game with another 3-0, first period lead. Sebastien Thinel scored a pair of goals in the game.

Game 5 - Saturday vs. Texas, 2-1 Win

In the third period, Sebastien Thinel snapped a scoreless tie and Phil Plante added another goal as the Jackalopes took a 3-2 series lead. Juha Toivonen stopped 33 of 34 shots in net for Odessa.

The series goes back to North Richland Hills, TX for game six as the Jackalopes will look to advance to the next round with a win. The Brahmas need to win in order to force a deciding game seven back in Odessa on Wednesday.
