
Bucks Can Advance In Allen Tuesday

ALLEN, TX- The Laredo Bucks and Allen Americans will play game six of their 2010 Central Hockey League Southern Conference semifinals series Tuesday night at the Allen Event Center. Game time is 7:30pm. The Bucks lead the best of seven series three games to two. The Bucks will hold the official road watch party at Hal's Landing. The party will start at 7pm and Hal's will show the game on a large projection screen. There will be specials and Bucks staff members will be on hand giving fans a chance to win prizes.

Laredo can advance to the Southern Conference Finals for the seventh time in their eight seasons with a win in Allen Tuesday. The Bucks have a 13-4 all-time record when they can eliminate an opponent from the postseason.
The Bucks took a 3-2 series lead Saturday night with a 5-1 win over the Americans. Pier Pelletier had 41 saves and Brent Cullaton picked up two goals and an assist to lead Laredo.
The Bucks are 3-0 in the series against Allen when they score four or more goals in a game, but are 0-2 when they score two or less goals.
Laredo's power-play has picked up in the last two games as they went a combined four-for-10 in games four and five. The Bucks were 0-for-15 combined in games one thru three.
The Bucks are looking for their first playoff series win since the 2008 Southern Conference Semifinals when they swept Odessa four games to none.
Laredo has a 4-4 all-time record in game six of a playoff series.
Allen has lost three games in row only once this year, falling to Odessa in three straight contests in December.
Todd Griffith leads the Bucks in playoff scoring with seven points (4-37) while Justin Bowers (2-46)) and Bruce Graham (2-46)) pace the Americans with six points apiece.
