
Jacks End Kings' Streak with 3-2 Win

(Odessa, TX) - Mike Ramsay's wrist shot off the crossbar 7:59 of the third period was the difference as the Jackalopes put a halt to the Riverkings win streak on Sunday night at the Ector County Coliseum. Mississippi had won 11 straight prior to Sunday.
Ramsay's game winner was set up by Thinel's game tying goal :48 seconds into the third period on the power play. Phil Plante and Collin Circelli had the assists.
Odessa trailed, 2-1 entering the third after Mississippi took one goal lead on a Louis Dumont goal at 4:36.
Both teams traded first period goals as Odessa's Paul Kelly and Mississippi's Stephen Margeson each scored.
Juha Toivonen made 24 saves for Odessa and both teams finished with 26 shots on goal.
The Jacks face off against the Corpus Christi IceRays on Thursday at 7:05 PM.
