JackHammers to Give away $22,500

JOLIET-The Joliet JackHammers, in a surprise move, gave away $10.00 in "JackHammer Jack" to all fans at Wednesday's 5-0 win over Winnipeg at Silver Cross Field. The JackHammers handed out the currency to all fans as they left the game because of the JackHammers' 5-0 win. The JackHammer Jack can be used for tickets, concessions or merchandise at any one of the remaining 10 home games this season. The JackHammers resume their home stand on Friday, August 14 against Fargo-Moorhead at 7:05 p.m. at Silver Cross Field.
"I think this is one of the more crazy ideas that we've come up with," said JackHammers Gameday and Promotions Manager Sean Keegan. "When we say 'Winning Wednesday' this is what we mean-when the JackHammers win, you win!"
The JackHammers will also hold the promotion at their final "Winning Wednesday" home game of the 2009 season on Wednesday, August 19 against Gary at 7:05 p.m. The currency will only be handed out to fans as they leave the game so be sure to stay through the entire game!
The JackHammers are currently home through Wednesday, August 19. Don't miss the JackHammers' first-ever Family Sleepover on Friday, August 14. Just $13.00 per person gets you a ticket to the game, fireworks after the game, a movie on the JackHammers jumbotron and snacks during the movie.
