
Jackals Make Roster Moves

Elmira Jackals News Release
The Elmira Jackals announced on Saturday that they have added forwards Chris Auger, Michael Dubuc, Samson Mahbod, and Les Reaney to their training camp roster. The Jackals also announced the release of forwards Jason Hill, David Lawrence, Zak Ray, and goaltender Mark Rajevski.
Auger enters his rookie season after playing four years for UMass-Lowell (NCAA, D-1), totaling 52 points (17g-35a) in his collegiate career.
The Bellville, Ontario product was selected 169th overall in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft by the Chicago Blackhawks.
Dubuc begins his third professional season after spending the first two with the Hershey Bears (AHL) and the South Carolina Stingrays (AHL). The Granby, Quebec native led the Stingrays' 2008-2009 Kelly Cup Champion squad with 35 goals and was fourth with 58 points.
Prior to turning pro, Dubuc led the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies (QMJHL) with 78 points (44g-34a) in 2007-2008 and 73 points (39g-34a) in 2006-2007.
Mahbod and Reaney were previously announced as having been signed by the Jackals.
Elmira will hold its third practice of training camp on Sunday at 10:00 a.m. at the First Arena Recreational Rink.
