Jackals Announce Roster Moves

The Elmira Jackals announced on Wednesday that defenseman Mike Ratchuk has been returned from their AHL affiliate, the Binghamton Senators, while forward Josh Brittain and defenseman Nick Schaus have been recalled to the club's AHL affiliate, the Syracuse Crunch.

Ratchuk, a fourth-year pro, was loaned from Elmira to Binghamton on Dec. 10. In 10 games with the B-Sens over the past month, Ratchuk collected one assist. The South Buffalo, N.Y. native has 11 points (3g-8a) in 20 games with the Jackals in 2010-2011.

Brittain and Schaus each skated in three games with the Jackals this past weekend after being assigned last Friday. A second-year pro from Milton, Ontario, Brittain posted one goal in the three contests while Schaus, a second-year pro from Orchard Park, N.Y. notched an assist.
