Odessa Jackalopes News Release
(Odessa, TX) - It was a pair of tight home games over the weekend, but the Jackalopes came out unscathed to keep their seven-game winning streak in tact.

This week's games: Tuesday vs. AMA, Friday vs. TUL, Saturday vs. LAR
Tuesday vs. Arizona, 3-1 Win
Juha Toivonen went down with a first period injury that landed him in the IR, but the Jacks persevered. Phil Plante, Brian Swiniarski, and Dave Van Drunen all scored for the Jackalopes. Alexandre Vincent came on to replace Toivonen and stopped 16 of 17 shots.
Friday vs. Tulsa, 3-1 Win
It was tied 1-1 with 12:27 to play in regulation, but Jeff Pierce and Jean Bourbeau added Odessa Jackalopes to pull away. Bourbeau's was a shorthanded marker. Alexandre Vincent was stable again in net for the Jacks making 23 saves. Only seven total penalties were called in the entire game, Odessa did not visit the penalty box in the first two periods.
Saturday vs. Corpus Christi, 2-1 Win
Collin Circelli's third period goal was the game winner for the Jacks as Odessa picked up their second win of the year against Corpus Christi. Defensively the Jacks made it an easy night for Alexandre Vincent, who only faced 13 shots and stopped all but one.
Tuesday vs. Amarillo 7:05 PM
The Jackalopes have a split a pair of games against Amarillo this season. In their previous meeting, former Jack, Mike Gorman made 30 saves in a 6-2 win over Odessa at the Ector County Coliseum.
Friday vs. Tulsa, 7:05 PM
It's the third game in as many weeks between Tulsa and Odessa. The Jacks have won the first two games, both by two goals. The Jackalopes scored a pair of late third period goals in the last contest to pull away with a 3-1 win over Tulsa.
Saturday vs. Laredo, 7:05 PM
Laredo is one of the hottest teams in the CHL, going 10-1-0 since their loss to Odessa, 5-2, in Laredo. The Bucks are four points ahead of Texas for first place in the Southeast Division.
