Odessa Jackalopes News Release
ODESSA, TX - The Odessa Jackalopes announced on Monday that they had signed a fourth tender for the upcoming 2019-20 season. Zach Langus of the Colorado Springs Tigers has signed a tender agreement to play for the Jackalopes this season.
"I am very excited and proud for the opportunity to become an Odessa Jackalope," Langus said. "The Jackalopes organization has proven to show great commitment to their players, in that giving them great opportunity to succeed and play at the college level."
Langus also went on to thank the Colorado Springs Tigers for helping him develop for three years with the organization.
A native of Boise, Idaho, Langus has earned eight assists so far this season, playing defense for the Tigers.
A tender is a contract, of sorts, a player signs announcing his intentions to play for that particular NAHL team and that NAHL team only. Once a player signs a tender with an NAHL team, his playing rights belong to that team within the NAHL and he may not be recruited by any other NAHL team. Each team is granted ten (10) tenders plus or minus any trades, which became active on Nov. 1. Tendered players are not eligible for the NAHL draft.
