Odessa Jackalopes News Release
ODESSA, TX - The Odessa Jackalopes announced on Wednesday that they have signed their fifth tender for the upcoming 2019-20 season. Defenseman Jason Galotti, of the Boston Advantage U18 hockey club has signed with the Jackalopes for next season.
"I'm excited to play for the Jackalopes and look forward to the season getting started," Galotti said.
A 6-4, 179 lb prospect, Galotti has been a stabilizing force on the blue line for Boston Advantage this season, earning three goals and six assists so far this season.
A tender is a contract, of sorts, a player signs announcing his intentions to play for that particular NAHL team and that NAHL team only. Once a player signs a tender with an NAHL team, his playing rights belong to that team within the NAHL and he may not be recruited by any other NAHL team. Each team is granted ten (10) tenders plus or minus any trades, which became active on Nov. 1. Tendered players are not eligible for the NAHL draft.
