J.R. Perdion Reaches 100 NAHL Games

Odessa, TX - The Odessa Jackalopes would like to congratulate J.R. Perdion on reaching 100 NAHL games. The Jackalopes are a member of the North American Hockey League and play out of the Ector County Coliseum located in Odessa, TX.

"When I found out I was coming to Odessa last February I didn't know what to expect. It turned out to be more than I could ask for. Being able to play my 100th NAHL game in an Odessa Jackalopes jersey is an honor. Special thanks to my coaches, teammates, trainers, equipment manager [Poper], as well as the ownership and management that have made this a great place to play and a great experience for me personally." Predion went on to add, "I'd also like to thank my billet parents, Rich and Renee Earls, for providing me a home away from home. Finally, I'd like to thank the fans. The only thing that could have been better would have been to play my 100th game on home ice."

Before reaching the NAHL, Perdion played 46 games for the Cleveland Barons 16U AAA in 2019-20. He finished that season second in points with 49. He led the team in goals with 30. Perdion also played for the Barons 16U AAA T1EHL team from 2018-20. He totaled 48 games and 28 points (14g, 14a) through his two seasons in the T1EHL. The Strongsville, OH native started his NAHL career last season with the Northeast Generals. He played 17 games for them and tallied three points (2g, 1a). He then was acquired by Odessa and finished out the season playing 24 games in a Jackalopes jersey (5g, 2a).

This season the 18-year-old has registered 17 goals and 18 assists in 59 games. He finished the season with the second-most points on the team and fourth in goals. His six power-play goals are a team-high. The 5'11"/180lbs. right-handed forward also had six power-play assists which are the second-most on the team. Perdion ended this season with a shooting percentage of 13.95 ranking him in the top five among his teammates. Perdion has played in 83 games for the Jacks over the course of his NAHL career and he still has two years of junior hockey eligibility.
