Summerside Storm News Release
(Summerside, PE) The Summerside STORM play their last regular season game at home Saturday night when the Halifax Rainmen visit Credit Union Place for a 7 o'clock starter which is also Fan Appreciation Night.
While Halifax comes into the game out of the NBL playoffs it should be an intense affair as the Rainmen have turned into the STORMS biggest rival during the past two years. The last time these two teams hooked up, Halifax held the lead into the fourth quarter only to see the STORM come back for the win and all but put the final nail in the Rainmen's playoff hopes. Halifax will be looking for a measure of revenge Saturday night so the game should be another good one. The box office for Saturday nights game opens at 9 Saturday morning.
The STORM are also having Fan Appreciation Night for this game to say thank you to the fans who have come out all season and look to see coming out in force for the STORM playoff run starting Sunday March 24th. The night will feature plenty of prize draws along with games, entertainment, and lots of fun.
Playoff tickets are also on sale now at the Credit Union Place box office, or online, for the upcoming STORM semi-finals. As mentioned, the STORM open up NBL playoffs March 24th at home while game two in the first STORM series goes Tuesday March 26th. If a fifth and deciding game is needed in the semi-final it will also be played at Credit Union Place on Monday April 1st.
STORM playoff tickets are being sold in packages of 3 or 6 games or on a game by game basis and fans can purchase those tickets now.
