It's a Washout: Drive and Braves Postponed

Greenville, SC - Monday's regularly scheduled South Atlantic League matchup between the Drive and Rome Braves from State Mutual Stadium has been postponed due to inclement weather.

The two teams will meet in a doubleheader on Tuesday, with first pitch of game one set for 6 PM.

Game two will begin approximately thirty minutes after the conclusion of the first game.

Both contests are scheduled for seven innings of play.

Greenville has won each of the first two games in the four-game series, and sit atop the Southern Division with a three-game lead over the Asheville Tourists.

The Drive return home to Fluor Field on August 2nd for a 9-game homestand.

The opener is "University of South Carolina Night" which will feature Gamecock football and baseball players, the 2010 College World Series National Championship trophy, Cocky, and cheerleaders.
