Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release

After a Mother's Day rainout, the IronPigs (20-15) play Games Three and Four of a four-game series against the Louisville Bats (11-26) at Louisville Slugger Field... With a 5-3 win in 10 innings on Saturday, the Pigs have three-straight games and improved to 3-3 on this eight-game, West Division road trip. In addition, the Pigs have gone 7-4 in their last 11 contests... The Bats -- Cincinnati's top affiliate -- have dropped three consecutive games and fallen to 1-5 on this eight-game homestand. Owners of the worst record in the IL, the Bats have dropped eight of their last nine affairs and are just 6-19 since April 17.

In Game One, RHP Austin Hyatt (2-3, 4.10) will face RHP Sean Gallagher (1-3, 6.88).

In Game Two, LHP Pat Misch (1-5, 6.91) will face RHP Wirfin Obispo (1-0, 1.54 in AA).

First-Pitch of Game One is at 5:05 p.m... Following the DH, the Pigs return home to start a series vs. Indianapolis on Monday.

DOUBLE YOUR PLEASURE?:

This will be the Pigs' second DH of the season after split a scheduled twinbill, 4/7 @ PAW (they were scheduled for a DH on 4/15, but poor weather forced a decision to play just one, 9-inning game)... Last season, the Pigs managed just a 5-9 record in DH games -- getting swept in two, including their last (Aug. 29 vs. SYR)... The Pigs have gone just 14-26 all-time in DH games with just three sweeps in 20 tries (6/11/08 vs. BUF; 7/18/09 vs. ROC; 9/4/09 vs. BUF) -- none in their last 11 DHs.
