Gwinnett Stripers News Release
LAWRENCEVILLE, GA. - The Gwinnett Braves announced the second-year return of the "Chopper's All-Stars Program" for local school outreach on Monday. Aimed at creating a positive impact on the community and its children, the program will once again donate undated Gwinnett Braves ticket vouchers to partnering elementary and middle schools as a means to reward students for academic improvement and good behavior.
With the "Chopper's All-Stars Program," teachers will receive four ticket vouchers to distribute to students of their choice. The vouchers are good for any home game in June or July and must be redeemed through the Coolray Field Box Office. The G-Braves are donating nearly 11,000 total vouchers as part of this year's program, congratulating schools for another successful school year.
"We're excited to once again partner with local schools on a great program that rewards students for a job well done," said G-Braves' General Manager North Johnson. "The Gwinnett Braves developed this program to show our appreciation for those school groups who support our organization as well."
