Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The fifth-place IronPigs (44-66) play the finale of a four-game series against the second-place Buffalo Bisons (56-53) -- the Mets' top affiliate. With a 7-3 loss last night, the Pigs are now on a season-long, eight-game losing streak -- which comes after winning six of seven. They've also lost five consecutive to Buffalo... Buffalo has won four straight contests and five of seven overall since dumping six consecutive games -- their second longest skid of 2010... Once a season-high 29-19 on May 28, the Bisons are 27-34 since.
LHP Brian Mazone (5-11, 3.78) will start for LHV against RHP Tobi Stoner (5-9, 6.04).
First-pitch tonight is at 7:05 p.m. at Coca-Cola Field in Buffalo.
