The fifth-place IronPigs (37-55) play Game Two of a four-game series against the third-place Louisville Bats (45-48) -- Cincinnati's top affiliate. With a heart-wrenching* 8-7 loss last night, the 'Pigs snapped a mini two-game winning streak and have started 0-1 in this eight-game West Division road trip. Lehigh Valley is just 7-14 (.333) in its last 21 contests... Louisville has gone 4-3 since a (tied for) season-high, five-game winning streak (which started at their low-water mark of 9 on July 1) -- making the Bats 9-3 in their last 12 affairs.
RHP Drew Carpenter (7-6, 3.34) will start for LHV for LHP Ben Jukich (3-4, 4.24).
First-pitch tonight is at 7:05 p.m.
