Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
After just their third day off in 2010 yesterday, the sixth-place IronPigs (25-40) play Game One of a four-game series against the second-place SWB Yankees (38-28) -- the New York's top affiliate. With a 7-3 loss on Tuesday, the 'Pigs lost two straight to split their four-game series at Buffalo. The 'Pigs are now 7-7 in their last 14 affairs... Scranton/Wilkes-Barre is currently the hottest team in the IL, entering the series with a four-game winning streak (just swept Indianapolis at home). Prior to the sweep, the Yanks have gone just 3-7 in their previous 10 games.
LHP Brian Mazone (3-6, 3.96) will start for LHV against RHP Zach McAllister (5-3, 4.57).
First-Pitch tonight is at 7:05 p.m. at Coca-Cola Park for IronPigs Flip-Flop Night, as presented by Air Products.
