Milwaukee Mustangs
The Milwaukee Iron travel to Peoria to take on the Peoria Pirates tonight at 7:00. The game was originally scheduled for 3:00, but the Pirates organization felt that 7:00 would be a better start time.
The Iron are coming off a 56-28 loss to the Green Bay Blizzard and the Pirates are coming off a 93-72 loss to the Kentucky Horsemen.
Iron quarterback Tyler Donovan was getting hit all game last week, being sacked 7 times and he threw 4 interceptions in the game and 2 were returned for touchdowns. The Iron will need better play out of Donovan and the offensive line if they want to have a shot at winning this game. Wide receiver Kellen Allen returns tonight after being on injured reserve. He would be a big help on an offense that is struggling right now.
Peoria's offense is on fire right now after coming off a 72 point performance, the Iron defense will have to be ready for sure. You will see many different looks out of the Pirates offense. They will sometimes run out of the shotgun with quarterback Luke Drone or just go under center. Peoria also runs the ball more than most af2 teams. Wide Receiver Brian Allbrooks is definitely a guy to watch out for.
