Iowa Cubs Single Game Tickets on Sale March 1

Individual game tickets for the 2011 Iowa Cubs home schedule go on sale Tuesday, March 1 at 9 a.m. at the Iowa Cubs box office at Principal Park, on the internet at www.iowacubs.com and by telephone at (515) 243-6111.

The Iowa Cubs open the 2011 season against the Round Rock Express, the triple-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers, on April 7 at 7:05 p.m. The Cubs open at home on Friday, April 15 with a 7:05 p.m. contest against the St. Louis Cardinals' Triple-A affiliate, the Memphis Redbirds. The first Friday night fireworks show will follow the game.

Tickets for all 72 home dates are available for purchase in person at the box office or by phone from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Fans also may purchase tickets online at www.iowacubs.com at any time.

Ticket prices for the 2011 season are as follows: $25 for Home Plate Club seats, $12 for Club Box seats, $10 for Field Box seats and Reserved Grandstand seats, and $7 for general admission. Ticket prices for children (13 and under) are reduced for Reserved Grandstand sections ($6) and General Admission ($4).

Cubs tickets are available at a reduced rate for groups of 25 or more by calling the Group Sales Department at 515-243-6011.

The Cubs' online ticket system will allow fans to be able to select their exact seat location for each game and print tickets at home. All fans will be able to email their tickets to friends through their own ticket management account.

Special events scheduled for this season include appearances by the Famous Chicken and the annual holiday fireworks shows on July 2 and 3.
