St. Cloud Norsemen News Release

St. Cloud, Minn. - The St. Cloud Norsemen are proud to present the first ever Norsemen mascot, Thunder!

Thunder was introduced for the first time at the St. Cloud Municipal Athletic Complex on Saturday, Dec. 4.

The name was chosen out of nearly 60 fan submissions for names and the fan who submitted the name Thunder is Ryan Carlos Mont, who will win a pair of tickets to the remaining Norsemen home games and $100 Norsemen merchandise prize pack.

Thunder is a recognized symbol of strength in Norse mythology. By representing the Norsemen, Thunder hopes to increase the strength in our presence in St. Cloud and the surrounding community and help our fans bring the "thunder" to Norsemen games by cheering on the team!

If you see Thunder at a Norsemen game, make sure you welcome him to the Norsemen family, take a picture and share on social media!

St. Cloud (11-9-0) is back in action at home thus Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. taking on the Minnesota Wilderness at the MAC after a Friday night trip to Cloquet. Tickets are on sale at tickets.stcloudnorsemen.com.
