Columbus, GA - The Intimidators (11-8) dropped their second straight on the road in Columbus with a 5-4 loss at Golden Park.

The go-ahead run scored for the Catfish in the eighth inning as Adam Bowling (2-1) balked in Stephen Vogt from third with runners on the corners.

Kannapolis opened the scoring in the first inning when Mark Fleisher singled into left field to drive in Eduardo Escobar to take a 1-0 lead. Columbus scored in the bottom of the first to tie it at one.

In the sixth inning, the Intimidators plated three runs. The first two runs came on a two-run home run from Jim Gallagher (7th) and Christian Marrero brought in the third with a RBI single. In the bottom of the sixth, the Intimidators surrendered three runs to tie the score at four.

Things got away from Kannapolis in the eighth. Bowling?s balk with runners at first and third undid the 4-4 tie.
