The season will begin at home on Thursday, April 8th at Fieldcrest Cannon Stadium against the Rome Braves (Atlanta Braves) at 7:05 pm.
The Intimidators will host their Monday through Saturday games at 7:05 pm and their Sunday games at 5:05 pm. However, there are five special game times that do not follow that trend. On April 14th, April 27th and June 2nd, the Intimidators will host their three Education Days, inviting area schools to enjoy morning baseball at 10:05 am. Additionally, on July 27th, Fieldcrest Cannon Stadium will play host to a 11:05 am game for the team's Camp Day, geared towards hosting summer camps in the area.
Two Intimidators games on national holidays are also going to begin at special times. The Intimidators play host to the Charleston RiverDogs (Yankees) on Memorial Day at 1:05 pm and will be home on July 4th, Independence Day, for a 7:05 pm Sunday start. At the conclusion of the game, there will be a special Fourth of July fireworks display.
The Intimidators will welcome 12 of the other 13 teams in the South Atlantic League to Kannapolis this season, with the Savannah Sand Gnats (Mets) being the only team that will not travel to Fieldcrest Cannon Stadium. The affiliates of the World Series participants, both the New York Yankees and the Philadelphia Phillies will each play in Kannapolis, as well as the affiliate of the Boston Red Sox and Atlanta Braves.
