BUFFALO BISONS www.Bisons.com

FELICIANO FINALLY GETS THE CALL: Bisons OF Jesus Feliciano finally received his first big league promotion on Tuesday. The Mets selected the contract of the 31-year old veteran. Feliciano has clearly been the best hitter in the International League in 2010 as his .385 batting average at the time of his promotion was 57 points higher than any other batter in the League. He also led the IL in hits (72) and was second in on-base percentage (.426). Last season, Feliciano led the IL with 154 base hits but didn't get the call. In his 183 career games with the Bisons, Feliciano averaged .331 (226-682) -the highest career batting average in the club's Modern Era.

TURN IT UP: INF Justin Turner has fit in nicely with the Bisons. The infielder was designated for assignment by Baltimore on May 21 after playing 23 games with Norfolk to begin the season. Turner joined the Bisons on May 27 and hit in the first 10 games he played with the Herd. Overall, he's reached base in all 12 contests with Buffalo, sporting a .327 (16-49) average with five RBI, five walks and seven runs scored. Last season, Turner led all Orioles' minor leaguers with a .300 batting average with the Tides.

BUFFALO'S DESIGNATED HITTER: INF Mike Jacobs has enjoyed the role as the Bisons designated hitter this season. In his 11 starts as the team's DH, Jacobs has hit .400 (20-50) with three home runs and 14 RBI. Last night, Jacobs hit the Bisons first inside-the-park home run in three years when he knocked one off the Blue Monster at Durham Bulls Athletic Park. On Sunday in Norfolk, Jacobs went 5-6 with two doubles, a triple and five RBI as the team's designated hitter. For the season, Jacobs is hitting .277 (48-173) with 15 doubles, a team-high three triples, seven home runs and 29 RBI in 43 games.

CHARLOTTE KNIGHTS www.CharlotteKnights.com

TORRES HONORED AGAIN: For the second time this season Charlotte Knights pitcher Carlos Torres has been named the International League's pitcher of the week.  Torres was dominant in his two starts for the week of May 31 - June 6 going 1-0 with a 1.42 ERA (2 ER/12.2 IP) and 14 strikeouts.  The 27-year-old right hander matched his season high of 10 strikeouts in a Memorial Day start at the Pawtucket Red Sox.  He also combined with two relievers to one-hit the Lehigh Valley IronPigs over the weekend in a 2-1 Knights victory.  Torres was also named the League's Pitcher of the Week earlier this season for the week of April 8 -11.

10 K RUN: RHP Daniel Hudson struck out 10 last night for the third time this season.  Hudson is second in the International League in strikeouts with 77.  The right handed starter struck out a season high 11 on 5/23 vs. Columbus and is now 5-0 with a 1.93 ERA (8 ER/37.1 IP) in six starts at Knights Stadium this season and has accumulated

41 strikeouts.  Opponents are hitting just .210 (29-138) against Hudson.

BEAUTIFUL BULLPEN: After struggling in the month of May, the Knights bullpen has pitched well in June.  RHP Jhonny Nunez earned his first save of the season Tuesday night pitching 2.0 shutout innings.  In last night's win three different pitchers combined to pitch 3.1 shutout innings.  The Knights bullpen enters tonight's game vs. Scranton/Wilkes-Barre having totaled a 3.42 ERA (8 ER/21.0 IP) and are 2 for 2 in save opportunities.

BUNT FOR FUN: The Knights have 29 sacrifice bunts on the season. INF Javier Colina leads the team in the category with six.  The Knights had 16 sacrifice bunts in May.

COLUMBUS CLIPPERS www.ClippersBaseball.com

HISTORIC NIGHT FOR LAPORTA:  Last night Matt LaPorta hit 3 HR in a game for the first time in his career (6th multi-HR game), recording the first 3 HR game in Huntington Park history.  It was the 10th time in franchise history that a Clipper went deep three times in the same game and the first since Mitch Jones had three on 4/17/05 vs. Charlotte.  LaPorta also tied a career best with 5 RBI (2nd time in career, both with the Clippers).  He had 13 total bases on the night, coming up one short of the Clippers record of 14, set by Dave Silvestri on 4/22/94 at Ottawa (2B, 3 HR).

HOME IS WHERE THE HITS ARE: Nick Weglarz picked up his third multi-hit game as a Clipper last night at Huntington Park and is now hitting .379 (11-29) in nine home games, compared to .038 (1-26) in seven road contests.  While with Akron, Weglarz batted .370 (20-54) in 15 games at Canal Park and .229 (19-83) in 22 games elsewhere in the Eastern League.  Combined, he hits .373 (31-83) at home and .183 (20-109) on the road.

FIFTH GEAR: On Tuesday night, Michael Brantley went a perfect 5-5, collecting five singles while driving in two.  It was the 2nd time Brantley has had five base hits in a game in his career and the first for Columbus since Jorge Padilla turned the trick on 7/26/08 at Norfolk.  Brantley followed that performance with a two steal game last night, giving him 53 in his Clippers career (ranks 9th all time).

A RARE OCCURRENCE: The Clippers outhit Rochester 15-10 Tuesday night, but still lost the game to mark the first time this season that they lost when outhitting the opponents by at least five (13-0 prior to last night).  It was also the first loss for Columbus when scoring at least four runs since 5/18 at Gwinnett, snapping a nine game winning streak (17-1 in the previous 18 games with at least four runs).  They rebounded last night to beat the Red Wings 8-0, outhitting them 11-4.  They are now 14-1 when outhitting opponents by at least five and 31-6 when scoring at least four runs.

DURHAM BULLS www.DurhamBulls.com

CHARGE!: The Bulls have won 8 of their last 10 games to move to 12 games over .500 (36-24) for the first time this season. They hold a 9.5 game lead in the International League South Division, the largest margin of any division leader in the IL.

EN FUEGO: Chris Richard is 21-for his last-46 (.457) during his current 11-game hitting streak. His average now stands at .324 for the season, second best in the International League while his 10 home runs is 8th best.

OVER EARLY: The Bulls have not lost a game when leading after seven frames (32-0).  Durham is 4-1 when it's tied after seven.  However, Durham also hasn't won (0-23) when trailing after seven innings.

RUN LIKE THE BULLS: Durham has 76 stolen bases, 13 ahead of 2nd place Syracuse (63).  Durham has been successful 83 percent of the time (76-of-92), which also leads the IL. Elliot Johnson leads the team with 19, tied for second in the IL. Four Bulls, Johnson (19), Fernando Perez (16), Desmond Jennings (16) and Justin Ruggiano (12) are in double digits.

GWINNETT BRAVES www.GwinnettBraves.com

REYNOSO RETURNS: In June 8th's loss to Norfolk, RHP Ryne Reynoso made his first appearance out of the bullpen at the Triple-A level in his career and first showing as a G-Brave in nearly one month. Reynoso, who began the season on the Gwinnett roster and started 7 games for the club (losing a franchise-record 5 straight games), was reassigned to Mississippi (Double-A) on May 15 to transition to a relief role. Reynoso was promoted back to GWN on the morning of June 8, and made his debut out of the bullpen the same night. He went 1.0 IP without allowing a hit and struck out 2 batters.

DUNN DEAL: G-Braves lefty reliever Michael Dunn, the current closer for the squad (since RHP Craig Kimbrel was recalled to ATL on June 5), has allowed just 2 ER in 26.2 IP this season (0.68 ERA) to go along with a 4-for-4 slate in save opportunities. Dunn has struck out 36 batters, and his K/9 ration (12.15) is second among all International League relievers.

GOOD ENDINGS: On June 7, Gwinnett beat the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees 4-2 for their first win of the season in the final game of a homestand. Going into that game, the G-Braves were 0-3 in games to end a homestand.

BARBARO'S MILESTONE: In June 6th's 7-3 loss to SWB, Gwinnett's Barbaro Canizares (1B/DH) hit career doubles number 100 and 101, making him the third G-Brave just this season to reach the 100 doubles milestone (Jordan Schafer, Matt Young). The game also marked his 12th multi-hit game (all 2-hit performances) this season, which is the most by any Gwinnett player. Canizares, in his fifth season of pro baseball in the U.S. after playing the first part of his career in Cuba, has 11 doubles this season. He led the G-Braves in the doubles department in 2009, raking 23 two-baggers.

INDIANAPOLIS INDIANS www.IndyIndians.com

VOTE FOR PEDRO: After falling just a single short of the cycle on June 9 against the Pawtucket Red Sox, Tribe 3B Pedro Alvarez continues to make a strong case for the 2010 Triple-A All-Star game as he raised his batting average to .286 (63-for-220) and has now hit 12 home runs to go along with 50 RBI on the season. In nine contests in the month of June, Alvarez is hitting .424 (14-for-33) with eight runs scored, four doubles, two triples, one home run, five RBI and five walks. As of June 9, the slugger ranks tied for second in the International League in RBI (50) and triples (4); third in total bases (121); tied for third in home runs (12); and fifth in runs scored (39) and hits (63). The third baseman has also played the most games in the IL at the hot corner this season, and has also recorded the most total chances in the field (161) as well as the most assists (127).

MAJOR LEAGUE IMPACT: Prior to the start of the June 9 contest against the Pawtucket Red Sox, Indians' RHP Brad Lincoln and OF Jose Tabata were both promoted to the Pittsburgh Pirates, marking the first time either player had received a Major League call in their professional baseball careers. In his Major League debut later on

June 9 against the Washington Nationals, Lincoln allowed five runs on seven hits in 6.0 innings of work, but did record two singles and a RBI three plate appearances. Before his promotion, Lincoln had recorded a team-best six victories and had the lowest ERA among Indians' starting pitchers at 3.16. The right-hander also led the Tribe in innings pitched (68.1 IP), games started (11) and strikeouts (55), while, on the International League side of things, the Texan was tied for the second-most wins and had the lowest WHIP (1.00) among all IL pitchers. Also making his big league debut on June 9 against Washington, Tabata went 2-for-4 with a run scored and a stolen base, and showed off his speed on the base paths, legging out two infield singles. Before his call to Pittsburgh, Tabata was leading the IL in stolen bases (25) and runs scored (42) and ranked first among all Tribe batters with 69 hits.

RELIEVER REVIVAL: After turning in a 5.72 ERA in the month of April, the Tribe bullpen has been nothing short of spectacular. Since the calendar flipped to May, Indians' relievers have logged a 2.07 ERA (28 ER in 121.2 IP) and converted 13 of 16 save opportunities while also recording 100 strikeouts over 121.2 innings pitched. RHP Vinnie Chulk (16.1 IP, 11 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 16 SO) and LHP Justin Thomas (18.2 IP, 6 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 15 SO) have paced the Tribe 'pen since May 1 as Chulk has posted a 0.55 ERA and 16 to 4 strikeout to walk ratio in 13 games, while Thomas has gone 2-0 with two saves, a 0.48 ERA and 15 to 2 strikeout to walk ratio over 14 appearances. RHP Jeremy Powell contributed to the bullpen's impressive run of late with a 5.1 IP, two hit, one walk, two strikeout performance against the Pawtucket Red Sox on

June 8. The 5.1 IP effort was the longest outing out of Tribe 'pen this season, with the previous high coming on three different occasions, when Thomas (April 27),

LHP Corey Hamman (April 26) and RHP Jeff Karstens (April 12) each tossed 4.0 innings of relief.

LIGHTS OUT LEFTY: LHP Justin Thomas has quietly put together an outstanding season out of the Indianapolis bullpen. Thomas has recorded a .131 batting average against (13-for-99), which is the lowest mark by a reliever in the International League, and has also allowed the fewest base runners for a relief pitcher per 9.0 IP at 5.97

(19 base runners in 28.2 IP). The left-hander also has the second-lowest walks per 9.0 IP for a reliever in the IL at 0.94, behind only Toledo's Josh Rainwater's 0.76 mark. After allowing three runs in his first 5.1 IP in 2010, Thomas has allowed only one run - a solo home run to Gwinnett RHP Tim Gustafson on May 24 - in 23.1 IP since

April 22, which gives him an astounding 0.39 ERA in his last 16 games.

LEHIGH VALLEY IRONPIGS www.IronPigsBaseball.com

TRACY TOPS 1,000-RBI MILESTONE IN PRO CAREER: Sunday's game was tied 5-5 when 1B Andy Tracy hit a 2-run 3B in the 5th inning -- knocking home his 1,000th and 1,001st RBI in his prodigious 15-year pro career. He also now has 958 RBI in his MiLB career, which ranks 2nd amongst all active MiLB'ers -- Kevin Barker (playing with Veracruz in Mexican) has 1,021; Mike Hessman is 3rd w/ 951. Tracy is also 2nd amongst all active MiLB'ers in HR with 264 Hessman, 329) & in BB with 745 (Barker, 775).

FROM 'A' TO 'Z': LHP Mike Zagurski now has a 7.1 scoreless IP streak in his last 6 G (4 h, 3 bb, 11 k) and has not allowed an ER in his last 14 G since 4/30 -- going 0-2, 0.00, 3 H, 16.1 IP, 9 H, 4 R, 8 BB, 24 K). During that time, the Omaha native has lowered his ERA from 7.45 to 2.77. "Z" also leads all IL relievers in K/9 at 13.5 (39 K in 26 IP).

EASY AS 1-2-3!: With last night's win, the Pigs have won 3 consecutive games for the first time in 2010 and for the first time since 9/3-9/4/09 (swept a DH on 9/4) and for the first time in 3 straight days since 8/21-8/23/09. LHV's last 4-game winning streak was 8/20-8/23/09 and last 5-game streak was during a franchise-long 7-gamer 6/14-6/20/09. For the first time in franchise history, the Pigs have tossed back-to-back shutouts. Tuesday marked their 3rd shutout of '10 after Monday marked their first 1-0 victory in team history (they had lost 1-0 three times). The Pigs have extended their scoreless-innings streak to a franchise-record 22.1 consecutive innings. The staff ERA is back to 2nd in the IL and down to a season-low 3.59.

RUNNIN' RED PIGS???: Since the addition of OF Willy Taveras, LHV has 8 SB in the last 5 G. The combination of Taveras, OF Rich Thompson and OF Chris Duffy is a combined 27-of-31 (.871) this season. The trio has combined for 783 SB in their MiLB careers and another 237 SB in their MLB careers.

LOUISVILLE BATS www.BatsBaseball.com

SUTTON'S 27-GAME ON-BASE STREAK IS BEST IN IL: INF Drew Sutton went 2-for-4 last night to extend his on-base streak to 27 straight games.  The 27-game streak is the longest this season for the Bats and is the longest streak in the IL. He is batting .367 (33-90) during his on-base streak. On 5/9, his batting average with LOU reached a season-low .193. Since that point, he has hit successfully in 21 of 25 games and raised his average to .291.  He is batting .390 (32-82) during the 25-game stretch.

VALAIKA HEATING BACK UP: INF Chris Valaika has been consistently among the top 10 in the IL in batting average this season with an average above the .300 mark.  From 5/8-5/31, Valaika endured a four game slump in which he went 0-12 and saw his average drop to .294, its lowest mark since April 18 (.276).  In game 2 of a doubleheader at Columbus on 5/31, Valaika snapped out of the slump with a 3-4 performance in the 16-2 win.  Since then, Valaika has hit safely in 8 of 9 games and is batting .382 (13-34) with 8 RBI during that stretch.  His season average is back up to .308, which ranks 5th in the IL.

CHICKS DIG THE LONG BALL: With 61 home runs on the season, the Bats rank 3rd in the IL, behind only Durham (69) and Charlotte (63). Wladimir Balentien leads the team with nine home runs on the season and Luis Terrero is second with eight. On Saturday night (6/5) the Bats had three home runs in a game for the fourth time this season when Terrero (2) and Balentien each went yard. Not only was it the fourth time this feat has been accomplished this year, but it was the second time in as many games.  Chris Burke, Zack Cozart, and Todd Frazier all went deep on Friday night against Pawtucket.  The other two occurrences came when Wilkin Castillo, Chris Heisey, and Cozart each homered on 4/26 vs. Indianapolis and Frazier hit two and Castillo hit one on 5/23 vs. Scranton/WB.

MOVING NORTHWARD: After suffering a four-game sweep at Scranton/WB, losing three of four at Buffalo and then losing the series opener to Rochester, the Bats began play against the IL North with a 1-8 record. With a four-game split with the PawSox and a split in the first two of a current four-game series at Syracuse, the Bats are 16-9 in their last 25 games against the North to even their record at 17-17. Tonight's game is the seventh game of a 12-game stretch against the North.

NORFOLK TIDES www.NorfolkTides.com

ARRIETA GETS THE CALL: Jake Arrieta, who has gone 6-2 with an International League leading 1.85 ERA in 12 games (11 starts) for the Tides this year, will make his Major League debut tonight when the Orioles take on the New York Yankees at Camden Yards. Arrieta ranks among IL leaders in lowest opposing batting average (1st, .189), innings pitched (2nd, 73.0), walks (T-2nd, 34), wins (T-3rd, 6), WHIP (T-4th, 1.12) and strikeouts (6th, 64) , and the 24-year-old was rated as the #4 prospect in the Orioles system by Baseball America prior to the season. Taking Arrieta's place in the Tides rotation is right-hander Tim Bascom, who was 3-4 with a 3.43 ERA in 11 starts for Double-A Bowie this season.

GOING STREAKING: With an RBI single Wednesday, Robert Andino has now hit safely in a season-high 10 straight contests. Over that span, Andino has hit .341

(15-for-44) with two home runs, 11 RBI and eight runs scored, and he is now just one game shy of matching Norfolk's longest hitting streak of the season, 11-game runs by Rhyne Hughes and Corey Patterson. For the season, Andino has been one of Norfolk's most clutch players, having batted .433 (13-for-30) with runners in scoring position and two outs.

HIGH TIDES: Norfolk's offense has had a great start to its current eight-game homestand, as the Tides have batted .325 (69-for-212) with eight home runs and 40 runs scored in six games thus far, an average of 6.7 runs a game. Norfolk has homered in each of the first six games of the homestand to give the Tides 29 home runs at Harbor Park this season, a total that is just six homers shy of matching Norfolk's entire home run total at Harbor Park a year ago (35).

PAWTUCKET RED SOX www.PawSox.com

THE ROAD HOME: The PawSox - who are 2-4 on their current 8-game roadtrip - will return to McCoy Stadium this coming Saturday for an 8-game homestand that will feature another 4-game set against the Louisville Bats (June 12-15) and then, after an off-day on June 16, a 4-game set vs. the Columbus Clippers from June 17-20. Saturday night at McCoy was expected to feature a rematch of the pitching match-up from last Monday night in Louisville as Pawtucket's Felix Doubront and Louisville's Aroldis Chapman, a pair of promising 22 year-olds, were to face each other again. However, Doubront, who got the best of Chapman in a 7-2 PawSox victory on Monday, was placed on Pawtucket's disabled list on Wednesday (retroactive to Tuesday) with a left shin contusion. Doubront went 5 innings and allowed 1 run while improving to 2-1 with a 1.08 ERA in his first 4 starts for the PawSox after posting a 4-0, 2.51 mark for Double-A Portland to begin this season. Chapman, on the other hand, gave up 7 runs in 2+ IP and fell to 5-3, 4.45 in his 11 starts for the Bats.

THE ROAD TO NOWHERE: Pawtucket's 10-20 road record is the worst in the International League. The PawSox are tied with Lehigh Valley for the fewest road wins in the League. The Sox have lost 10 of their last 13 road games since winning two in a row on the road on May 9 & May 18. In between their road woes, however, the PawSox have won 4 of 6 at McCoy and 11 of their last 15 home games since May 11. They have the fifth most home wins in the League (17).

HOME VS. ROAD: Pawtucket is 10-20 on the road and 17-13 at home. They are hitting at a .249 clip on the road with 129 runs scored in 30 games compared to .242 at home with 115 runs scored in 30 games. PawSox pitchers are faring much better at McCoy thus far going 17-13 with a 3.19 ERA compared to 10-20 with a 5.60 ERA on the road.

EVEN THREESOME: Pawtucket has scored more than 3 runs in a game 30 times this season and they are 22-8 in those. They have been held to 3 runs or less in a game 30 times as well and they are 5-25 in those.

ROCHESTER RED WINGS www.RedWingsBaseball.com

THE BUCKEYE CURSE: The Red Wings are currently on their swing through the State of Ohio (1-1 record).  The Red Wings haven't had much luck on the Columbus/Toledo road trip the last 11 years.  Rochester has come back from this road trip with a winning record just twice since 1999 (2007 5-3 record and 1999 5-3 record).  You have to go back to July 17-22, 1990 for the last time Rochester won six games on a Columbus/Toledo road trip (6-1 record).

HISTORY LESSON: The 10 runs the Red Wings scored in the bottom of the first inning in game one of Monday night's doubleheader is the second most runs Rochester has scored in an inning at Frontier Field.  The record goes to the 1998 Red Wings!  Rochester scored 13 runs in the third inning July 20, 1998 in a 20-7 win vs. Indianapolis at Frontier Field.  The Wings sent 18 batters to the plate collecting nine hits, six walks and Willis Otanez and Julio Vinas hit back-to-back home runs.  The 10 runs scored are also the most runs Rochester has scored in an inning since May 7, 2000 when the Red Wings scored 13 runs in the top of the third inning at Toledo.

THIS CONTINUES TO BE A "SERIES" PROBLEM: Through the first 16 series this season Rochester is without a series win (0-5-11 record).  Rochester has split 11 of the 16 series they've played and been swept twice (two-game series in Scranton/WB April 12 & 13 and four-game series vs. Syracuse May 18-21).  Rochester has lost their last 20 series with their last series win coming August 28-30, 2009 when they took two of three from Buffalo at Frontier Field.

SCRANTON/WILKES-BARRE YANKEES www.SWBYankees.com

YOU COMPLETE ME: The Yankees starters have thrown two complete games thus far in 2010 with Tuesday's starter Tim Redding joining Zach McAllister as the pair of SWB hurler's that have done so. McAllister's effort was a seven inning complete game in the regularly scheduled game at Indianapolis on May 21st following the completion of a suspended game from the previous evening. The right hander allowed four runs (three earned) on nine hits to win his third game of the season. Redding did not have similar luck on Tuesday night taking the loss at Charlotte where he was dominant at times allowing four hits and two runs with a season high seven K and two walks.

BUS AND JET LAG?: With Tuesday night's 2-0 shutout loss to Charlotte the Yankees dropped to 2-7 in the first game of a series on the road. SWB dropped its first game on the current road trip to Gwinnett with a 3-2 loss. The only two wins for the Yankees on the first game of a road series have been in Syracuse, where the Yankees have beaten the Chiefs twice. On both occasions SWB had relatively short travel days in coming from Buffalo and driving in from Scranton. In the second game of the road series through nine games the Yanks are 4-5. Games three and four of four game series away from home has been the team's forte where they have posted an 8-4 mark.

ROLLING LIKE A RIVERA: Rene Rivera extended his season high hit streak to seven games with a 1-3 night at Gwinnett in the series finale on Monday. He has hit safely in eight of the 10 games that he has played in with SWB since joining the team on May 21st from the Camden River Sharks of the Atlantic League. During his current seven game run the Yankees catcher is hitting .318 (7-22), R, 2B, HR, 3 RBI, BB, 4 K. Rivera's HR came off of phenom in waiting Stephen Strasburg of the Washington Nationals and is the only HR the right hander has allowed in his brief career thus far.

HEALING AS SCHEDULED: Zach McAllister who was been placed on the 7 Day DL retro to June 3rd with a sore spot in his right triceps, is slated to make his next scheduled turn in the rotation on June 11th when the Yankees wrap up the teams current eight game road trip in Charlotte. The right hander who leads the Yankees starters with a 5-2 record was scheduled to make his 12th start of the season on Sunday afternoon but was replaced on the hill with RHP Jason Hirsh.

SYRACUSE CHIEFS www.SyracuseChiefs.com

SENIOR CIRCUIT-ED: The Chiefs split their first two games with the Bats, the Reds Triple-A affiliate in their current series. Syracuse is 16-6 this season against National League competition and 18-19 against teams affiliated with American League clubs. Syracuse plays one series against each on the next road trip (4 against Charlotte and 5.5 against Gwinnett).

FIRST TIME FOR EVERYTHING: Syracuse's relief staff threw all nine innings of Tuesday's game against the Bats. Each reliever, Josh Wilkie, Jason Bergmann, Mike MacDougal and Joel Peralta either tied or set a season high in innings.

ORR ELSE: The Chiefs got a game-winning home run from Pete Orr on Tuesday, his eighth long ball of the season. Orr now leads the team and stands two shy of a career number of ten which he set last season in Syracuse and Washington.

TOLEDO MUD HENS www.MudHens.com

LUCKY SEVEN: For the second week in a row, the Mud Hens played a doubleheader (and will play another Thursday night), this time splitting with the Rochester Red Wings. In five seven-inning games this season, Toledo is 4-1. Conversely, the Hens are winless (0-2) in extra-inning games this year.

KUNKEL EXCELS: Since his promotion from Double-A Erie, Jeff Kunkel has been a spark to the Mud Hens lineup. In three games, Kunkel is batting .462 (6-for-13) with a double and two runs scored. Before Kunkel arrived in Toledo, the Hens were eighth in the International League in team batting with a .256 average. They have since moved up two spots to sixth (.263).

RAMIREZ RETURNS: OF Wilkin Ramirez, who spent the bulk of the 2009 season with the Mud Hens, was promoted to Toledo this week from Double-A Erie. Ramirez was leading the Eastern League with 15 home runs.
