Inter Miami II aims to rebound after its recent 1-2 home defeat against Chattanooga FC on May 10. The match was highlighted by Idoh Zubida scoring his first goal of the 2024 MLS NEXT Pro campaign and attacker Dairon Reyes making his first start of the season after recovering from a long-term injury.

Forward Leo Afonso currently leads the Inter MIami CF II with four goals, tying him for eighth among the league's top scorers. Meanwhile, forward Ryan Carmichael is the team's leader in assists with three.

Carolina Core FC, on the other hand, will head into the match fresh off a 2-1 victory over Atlanta United II at Fifth Third Bank Stadium. Carolina Core FC currently sits fourteenth in the MLS NEXT Pro Eastern Conference standings, with a record of one win, four losses, and one draw, totaling five points.

Inter Miami II will host Carolina Core FC for the first time this season, marking the sides' inaugural matchup.
