Premier Sports Management Group (PSMG) is proud to announce that beginning in November of 2015 Hartford City FC will play its first game of professional indoor soccer at the XL Center in Hartford, CT. Hartford City FC will be a member of the Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) and compete against the best teams spanning the United States and Mexico. Its inaugural season will be the 2015/2016 season and the first of many successful seasons to come.
As an experienced Sports Management Group, PSMG is known for and is committed to growing the presence of soccer in the region. Connecticut is known for its strength in the sport of soccer across youth, academy and college level programs. Mitch Anderson, President of PSMG said, "We're thrilled to be an integral part of enhancing soccer in Connecticut and the surrounding area. Our goal is to deliver an entertaining product that will unite the community behind our team and promote the game of soccer, as well as excite and develop youth soccer players at all levels across Connecticut."
Hartford City FC will hold tryouts in late August and begin a rigorous training schedule immediately thereafter to prepare for its first game in November of 2015. The schedule will be announced in late October, but season tickets can be reserved now. Hartford City FC merchandise and gear will be on sale soon and the season opener is right around the corner. We urge you to help our players score another big win by adding success at the professional level to the many soccer accomplishments of the State of Connecticut.
