Individual Tickets Go On Sale This Monday, February 9

Manchester, NH- The New Hampshire Fisher Cats, Double-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays, today announced that individual game tickets will go on sale exclusively through the team's website, www.nhfishercats.com, beginning on Monday, February 9, at 9:30am. The team is unveiling a new feature that allows fans to purchase tickets online and print them directly from their computer.
"We are excited to offer our fans this convenient way to print their tickets from the comfort of their own homes," said Fisher Cats President/General Manager Rick Brenner. "This tool is the latest example of our ongoing commitment to improve our fans' overall experience with the Fisher Cats."
There will be a special seven-day window for fans to obtain individual game tickets exclusively online from Monday, February 9, to Sunday, February 15. Starting on Monday, February 16, at 9:30am, tickets can be purchased in person at Merchantsauto.com Stadium, by calling (603) 641-2005 or online at www.nhfishercats.com.
The Fisher Cats' 2009 Promotional Schedule includes 35 giveaways and 21 Atlas Fireworks Nights (listed below). Opening Night/United Way Night is Wednesday, April 8, at 6:35pm against the New Britain Rock Cats. The first 1,000 fans in attendance at Merchantsauto.com Stadium will receive free Coca-Cola/Fisher Cats Fleece Blankets.
There will be five bobblehead giveaway nights during the season, beginning with Sovereign Bank/David Ortiz Bobbleheads on Friday, May 22, when the Fisher Cats host the Trenton Thunder at 7:05pm. The other bobblehead giveaways include Northeast Delta Dental/Johnny Pesky on Monday, June 29 (vs Portland/7:05pm); Travis Snider on Friday, July 17 (vs Connecticut/7:05pm); a unique Jonathan Papelbon bobble 'leg' on Wednesday, August 26 (vs Harrisburg/7:05pm); and a Ted Williams Museum & Hitters Hall of Fame/Ted Williams bobblehead on Monday, August 31 (vs Portland/7:05pm). New this season, the Fisher Cats are also giving away the extremely popular Webkinz Lil' Kinz to the first 1,000 children on Animal Appreciation Night (Friday, June 5, vs Reading/7:05pm), courtesy of Sovereign Bank, and on Group Sleepover Night (Tuesday, July 28, vs New Britain), courtesy of Northeast Delta Dental.
Other Fisher Cats' 2009 theme days include Timber Appreciation Day (April 26), Ladies Night (April 28), Law Enforcement Night (May 22), Girl Scouts Day (June 7), 50s Night (June 18), a Hot Dog Eating Contest (July 4), 80s Night (July 16), Oktoberfest (July 18), Faith & Family Day (July 19), Youth Soccer Day (July 29), Renew Your Wedding Vows Night (August 8), Manchester Monarchs Day (August 9), Halloween Night (August 18) and Fan Appreciation Day (August 30).
