Individual Tickets Go on Sale Next Wednesday

(Joliet, IL) - The moment Joliet baseball fans have been waiting for is here!

The Joliet Slammers announced Thursday that individual tickets will go on sale on www.jolietslammers.com at 12:01 a.m. on Wednesday, May 4. The Box Office will open at 10:00 a.m. that day for fans to stop by or call (815) 722-2287 to purchase their seats. Reserved seats are 10 dollars and lawn seats cost five bucks. Visa, Master Card, American Express, and Discover are all accepted. Personal checks are accepted if the tickets are bought at the box office as opposed to over the phone or online.

Season ticket and flex plan holders will get first priority as they are invited to lock in the seats they want for individual games starting tomorrow through next Tuesday. You can still purchase season tickets and flex plans by calling (815) 722-2287 between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. on weekdays and 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Saturday. The office is closed on Sunday.

Slammers fans can also look forward to the promotional schedule being released early next week before tickets go on sale. Weekly promotions are already out and include Mascot Mondays, Two-fer Tuesdays, Win It Wednesdays, Thirsty Thursdays, Fireworks Fridays, Grandslam Saturdays, and Senior Sundays. Also, kids are invited to run around the bases every night after the game with the exception of fireworks nights.

The Slammers begin play in their inaugural season on Thursday, May 19th, 2011 against the Washington Wild Things. For tickets, please call (815) 722-BATS (2287).
